What Is ARTAS®?
The ARTAS® system is a form of robotic hair restoration that uses artificial intelligence (AI) to analyze and select optimal grafts from the donor area of your scalp and place them in a prime location in the recipient area. ARTAS® is a form of follicular unit extraction (FUE) where individual follicles are transplanted for the most natural-looking results.
Prior to your procedure, ARTAS® will use 3D mapping technology to design your desired hairline. Its advanced AI algorithm then chooses the best follicles to harvest for transplantation. Am I a Good Candidate for an ARTAS® Robotic Hair Transplant?
Individuals with mild-to-moderate hair loss, and who have adequate available donor hair on the back of their scalp are often excellent candidates for ARTAS® hair transplants. The procedure is appropriate for all hair types and for both men and women. It is most frequently used to treat those who have androgenic alopecia – also known as male pattern baldness or female pattern baldness.
Those who have severe hair loss, inadequate donor hair, extensive scalp scarring, or uncontrolled health conditions may not be good candidates for an ARTAS® robotic hair transplant.
